Louise Keast, Soprano & Eunmi Park, Piano

Australian soprano Louise Keast is an ensemble member of Opera Australia. In 2020 Louise made her main stage debut in the role of Marzelline in Beethoven’s Fidelio at Melbourne Opera. Her recent role debuts include Contessa in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte and Wellgunde in Wagner’s opera Das Rheingold. Louise was a Richard Divall Emerging Artist at Melbourne Opera from 2019-2021 and during this time was the first recipient of the Rotary Melbourne Central Next Generations Service Exchange with Melbourne Opera, supporting her travel and study in Germany and Bayreuth.
Eunmi Park was born in Daegu, South Korea and completed her Master’s degree in piano with Prof. Thomas Günther at Folkwang Udk Essen. Since 2020 she has been studying in the Master Korrepetition-Vokal at the HfM Nürnberg with Jan Roelof Wolthuis and in the Lied class of Prof. Marcelo Amaral. From August 2022 she will work as a repetiteur at the theatre in Nordhausen.

In her second concert at the Klaviermanufaktur Steingraeber, Louise Keast will sing Schumann’s song cycle “Frauenliebe und Leben” op. 42 in counterpoint to four songs by Richard Strauss.
