At a ceremony in Munich on November 21, the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger presented the Export Award Bavaria 2018 to the piano manufacturer Steingraeber & Söhne. The prize was given to the owners Cordelia, Alban and the current Managing Director Udo Steingraeber, co-owner Fanny Steingraeber was missing due to her university studies. The piano manufacturer Steingraeber & Söhne was honored and honored for its outstanding achievements in worldwide export.

“On our dispatch lists for the year 2018, even the Tehran University of Art has a” Transducer Grand Piano”- one of the few failures, because despite a down payment, the order can not be executed because of the Trump embargo”, says Udo Steingraeber. Otherwise, the global activity is usually without complications, be it for North and Central America, Asia or the Middle East. In Africa, there are already two dealers (South Africa, Kenya) and in Europe, the network of foreign agencies of the very small Bayreuth piano factory is pretty widespread, as Udo Steingraeber further emphasized. And that is exactly where the chief technicians and concert technicians of the Bayreuth luxury company for grand and upright pianos always travel. In the US ranking, Steingraeber & Söhne is listed as one of the six best brands in the world and, with this exclusive club, is even the manufacturer with the most innovations in the past 25 years. Therefore, in May 2018 there was already an award ceremony: The Future Award of the Chamber of Crafts for Upper Franconia was awarded in Coburg to Steingraeber & Söhne.

Internationality is always in demand at the Steingraeber Haus Bayreuth. The seven selection rooms for pianos, three selection rooms for grand pianos and currently two guest apartments for international visitors are constantly and abundantly frequented. Neither Japanese nor Chinese nor Russian is a special case in the historic palace of the Margraves in the heart of the festival city.
