Thomas Kelly was born in Bromley in 1998 and studied at Purcell School from 2015 to 2017. Since then he has been taught by Andrew Ball until today, when he is studying at the Royal College of Music.

Since graduating from Purcell School, Thomas Kelly has had the opportunity to attend a variety of events including: at the Fazioli Concert Hall at Sacile, St. Martin In the Fields and twice at the Wigmore Hall.

After winning the school concert prize, he played in March 2018, the 2nd Brahms concert in the Cadogan Hall with Moritz Gnann. In August 2017 he participated in PIANALE winning the EMCY Award, the Senior Jury Award and the Steingraeber Award.
